What has happend to those new camera angles sky news started to use, I have not seen them used for a while now. Also when will Bob friend make his 'special' appearence on Sky News again?

The reverse image into the studio was filmed using a roof mounted remote camera in the newsroom, this seems to be constantly pointed at the newswall now.

The CNN style zoom in and out shots just before the break were cool and should be used more often. I think we can take it now that Bob Friend will not be returning as well. Sob Sob
On the first day Sky changed the cameras and ruined it. I'm not sure about you but I think the first shot looks so much better than the tight second shot. I'm annoyed about them not going w/s, the cameras there have the ability to do it.
The back of the studio shot looked a bit odd. You may find that they start doing more of this again in Feb, when the newsroom/gallery feed launches on News Active.

The shots are much too tight at the moment, especially when there is a sidebar there - it would be better to have a looser shot rather than a presenter going behind the sidebar. (sports presenters seem to suffer from it more)
Also bring back the reverse shot - that was good. Also something to come back from the breaks would be nice as well, instead of just coming back from an ad. It can look unprofessional sometimes. I'd also like to see the breakbumper used before every break and not just ones with 'coming up' before the ads.
Of course not... maybe Bob will come back to fill in for Frank for a bit?!
The before shots did look better and it looked like they were trying out different things for about a day before deciding not to bother and stick with what they knew... if only they'd experiemented with the astons someone may have told them how bad they were!

The shots of the studio from the newsroom don't work anymore
beacause there are lots of things behind the flats it looks too messy - they used it last Sunday morning on the half hour sunrise headlines and it didn't look right at all.
