By pure chance I have the sign off on tape. I saw the new ident at 4pm and was taping to see whether they were going to use an end sting, they didn't but it remained on tape. It's only very short but I'll try to capture it a bit later. I can't say I noticed anything was wrong, perhaps I wasn't paying attention.

Miss Burley is indeed a Dragon, and well known for her temper, and wicked ways at Sky News. Among other things she is good at stealing others husbands, and shagging male presenters in the Wardrobe room.
What happened is unclear, although she did have a blazing row over a sign off, which continued into the male dressing room where she is alleged to have been punched in the mouth.
Whatever happens it will i'm sure have been a lovely set up by Miss Burley, who is famous for staging incidents to get her own way.

I was watching Sky News a couple of weekends ago when Frank was presenting with Juliet Foster.
They were coming out of a vt package and there mic went live a bit early.
I heard Frank say on-air 'I'll do it' - I can only guess the question from the gallery was 'Who'll do the next link?'

To be honest I'll think you'll find its the other way around.
For those of you interested, Drop the Dead Donkey is being shown nightly, and has been for several weeks, on Paramount Comedy Channel (epg 127 on DSAT). With any luck at the end of the run they'll just start all over again, as is the fashion with digital tv.
Excellent episode last night, set at the 1993 British News Awards (presented by Jon Snow) - which include Henry's lifetime achievement award speech and Damien meeting Lynn Yates.

I think we have to take this whole event with a pinch of salt. Newsrooms are well known places of bitcheness and competitiveness. Sky news being no different. We should respect that any argument that these two may have had could have been personally motivated if indeed there was some kind of relationship was in the past. Therefore having little to do with sky news itself and therefore little to do with US!!!.
Lets not turn this into a place for slagging of Kay Burley and Frank Partridge. Both are well experienced anchors (yes i said anchors) and all together down to earth lovely people. Any altecation should be left to the relevant people involved.
