Spooky. As I previously suggested Sky News have changed the colour of the paper their scripts are printed on to light blue, to reduce the reflections on the glass.

And who ever it was who said it would be impossible!!! Eat your words!

All news scripts used to be printed onto coloured paper. They used to do this on all TV productions to stop the script standing out and reflecting too much light onto the presenter. Especially in the days of old tube cameras where you couldnt have anything on the set that was totally white, otherwise it would peak on the camera.

Sky News had loads of problrems with reflections in the new set, If they had stuck to coloured scripts like everyone else then they would have been fine. Suppose it was just a cost cutting measure, white paper cost them less that coloured.

I gona change the subject here because i dont want to start a new thread and thousands of people shout me down.

Does Sky News use HTML formating to do their onscreen graphics

This morning they were about to go to a live link with a reporter and up poped the screen where they have the presenter in the studio and the other reporter, and where they have the location of the reporter and Sky News Studio was written loads of HTML code eg <centre><b>Sky News Studio</b></centre> In the big red blob in the bottome was written <b><h1></h1></b>.

Now i can breath again!

Just something I noticed
Cheers

Another thing to add! Does anyone remember a few weeks back I suggested that sky news should present their weather forecast from the News Wall? Well just half hour ago, I saw Hazel do exactly that!

I posted it here on November 4.
