The newswall feeds are still frozen though, although whenever displaying anything else - it does animate so it must just be a problem with their feed thingy (very technical!)

Newswall feeds are now "working" again and are beautifully animated again - all appears to be back to normal now anyway.

There does seem to be some choppy sound right at the minute, though.

EDIT: Just seen the twin presenter shot, the feeds arn't right, there is a big black line down the middle, and the left collection of feeds keeps wobbling. Very difficult to put into words - but it isn't quite normal yet.

Something is definatly going on alright...its either

A) Possible sorting things out for a mini revamp...

B) Monkeys are actually now pushing the buttons and faders in the sky news control room...

OR

C) We are all reading too much into things as per usual and nothing is going to happen.

Back to unscheduled pre-recorded programming again. I guess they figure that it being a slow news day, there is no need to worry about relocating.

Seems a bit odd though to keep cutting to pre-recorded stuff just because the crappy multifeed thing isn't working. Why not just use a different background?

Or is it something more serious? Has Kay Burley sabataged the studio vanity mirror it an attempt to get more airtime? In which case they had better hope Alan King is not on next, he would never cope!

The newswall was active overnight last night, although not on air, just on the newsroom cam. They were dispalying random shots of a river Confused

I think they're having a good play with something or other.

Would it be possible to add some videos of the crash, especially when they said "We're having some technical diffulcities here at Sky News".

We all know there are going to be changes to the style and content of news programming on Sky News in September because they announced it publicly a few months ago.

Could they not at least relocate to their Westminster studio to do the news?

Remarkable foresight.

Cryptic, moi?

no..Just 'loose'

Oh please...its true, he was caught drinking in the Cock and Trumpet inn. Yes its true...Peter Simon was next door in the 'Friend in the Hand'

Its ironic that the only time Sky News has become interesting again is when its in the technical doldrums!
