I've got physics tomorrow too.... Sad

Oh well,

You are right though Chesh about the last one, but i don't think that they will change this time during the JT slot, because it has become far too highly profiled...

Another thing to watch out with Sky News, is that they do things out of the blue, not even telling their staff until the last minute on many occasions....

It's well worth keeping an eye on the channel over the next few days just to see...

Cheers
Kev

PS.. James, impatience is doing me no justice!!! Hurry with the ITV Audio!!! lol (only kidding, take ur time)

Hmmm, sounds interesting!

What do you mean about an introduction??
Can you shed any more light on the matter?

Yes it is Physics! Its alright, I'm actually quite good at it. Not being modest of course Smile

Last redesign (May 01) was @ 4pm cos that was the first opportunity at the top of the hour after Tone called the election.

The previous ones have all taken place @ 6am (Sunrise)

The last Book Show is on next week

Is everyone in this forum a member of the great AS guinea pig group like me? To anyone that does Edexcel English Lit Hamlet: those questions were weird! Smile

Never mind.

I was just thinking.

Kev said to check if they go into a temporary studio tonight. Could that mean that they will relaunch on Monday morning when its 6am?

I know its asking a lot but it could just happen.

Also, is the studio being built somewhere else or will it be in place of the old one? If it is being built somewhere else then it might just relaunch.

Then again, I won't get my hopes up. I'll only be dissapointed because the relaunch probably isn't happening till Christmas or something! Smile

Hi there -

I guess everyone's said everything they know about this revamp. I didn't know about it until I read this forum. But, does anyone know if they're gonna keep that new tune? I think it's much worse than the other one myself, to me it sounds too low in quality.

And the caption bars - ugh! cheap and nasty or what???

From what's been said, I think it's likely it happens on Monday next, I'm usually up at 1am watching BB or something, so I'll probably post here if something exciting happens then.....if someone doesn't beat me to it! Smile

Well, nothing has been happening over the last couple of days on Sky News!

No temporary studio's at night anymore and the newsroom seems to have gone quiet again. Sad

Can we expect to see any more developments? Kev said to watch as it could be interesting but I have seen nothing different, yet.

Also, PLEASE Sky! Put 2 presenters back on overnights as it makes it so much more interesting, its boring with only one!

I expect that they have just done the preparations for the new studio, wiring - lighting etc.
We will probably see them move out of the studio for the last time on Friday evening or Saturday morning.
Kev said that they might be keeping the plasma screen but to be honest I am not sure anyone actually has a clue what is going on at the moment, I expect it may well be an open plan studio.
