Sky News

I know this will get a response from Cheshirec but I have to comment on how slow Sky were at covering the disturbances in Leeds last night. News 24 had the first pictures and a live report from the scene at just after 11 o'clock. It took Sky News until 1 o'clock to have a phone report from the scene, and until 5 o'clock to get any pictures at all. Thus taking them 6 hours to have the same coverage. I know we have arguements over who breaks the news first but the overnight service from Sky can be really poor at times as last night shows.
By the way saw some of the Vote 2001 rehearsals last night ... I look forward to all your comments ... look out for the spinning logo in one corner!!!!

Oh no, that 'V' is not going to be spinning is it, that will totally distract me from the coverage. I hate animated DOGS, like the Liquid News one.

I don't know anyone who like's DOGs let alone MOVING ones. News 24 has three of them, I know the BBC are animal lovers but it's time to put the DOG's to sleep.

Please don't animate the 'V' DOG!!

The screen will be loaded with info anyway. When a result comes in a ticker will alert us of that fact.

IE, Lab Hold Nuneaton (My home constituency) and that will probably be animated as well.

BUT PLEASE, don't animate the V. I can just about put up with a DOG but don't animate, (THERE IS NO NEED!)
