Sky News

I was just wondering could someone help me on a couple of questions:

1.Yesterday I saw Natasha Kaplinski at the videowall reviewing the latest events on war on terror. Is this the scene @ 7 that Relaunchnow was telling us?

2.Can anyone tell me where I can get the music from the 1998 sky one newsbreak after the sky news relaunch then. I heard it when viewing skytext the other day but haven't heard it since.

3.Can anyone tell me what is the status on the soft end of the studio where the temorary studio was?

4. Can anyone tell me how come i have seen sky sports news presenters reading the sport? Has there been a link-up? And has this something to do with the fact that when relaunchnow gave us programming details he named the sport SKY SPORTS CENTRE

I have that music, but its on my computer at home, so I can give it to you when I am home from uni at christmas! (I know its a long time, but better than nothing!)

Ive just had an idea. Wouldnt it be cool if they used to videowall to do the weather? I think the BBC did something similar during their millenium coverage.

Sky news do really need to bring back specialised programming e.g Live at five, Sky news today. It seems they are still in a state of limbo at the moment, with some presenters still refering to live at five and sunrise, and the EPG in a mess, still listing Bob Friend as a Sky news today presenter. Sky news are fast going to find them selves in the same postion as the ITN News channel if they do not do something soon.

One thing ive noticed is that they are still making changes to then set, and the video wall.

Yeah, I've noticed the changes to the set and video wall too. Although I'm not keen on the idea of Breakfast being broadcasted on BBC One and News 24, I do thing it would suit Sky News better if they presented Sunrise from a different studio for 3 hours or so. Perhaps I'll make a mock and put in the Mock Designs forum, along with all the details.
