No well I never said I was certain, but it does look a BIT like their main font... doesn't it?! The little a's n s's, its just a bit squared off. I think they've changed it now though, I cant see the font in the November edition.

The font in the magazine, is called Infinity, I did have a link to the site which designed and sells it. It is not custom made for Sky!

I got my mag before all this strike business. I couldn't get all the Christmas stuff early, it had to be the magazine. It's like someones out there thinking "now shall I send him his xmas stuff first or the sky mag, which is more important... I know, the magazine."
The magazine is supposed to be all new and bigger than ever, but it looks the same to me. I think its just slightly tweaked from the previous editions. Anyway, in answer to your question, sorry no I dont know the name of that font you're looking for lol. I do like that font though.

Did anybody watch the Freeview of About a Boy then last night ? I thought some might have to catch the new Sky Movies ident, no ?

I was just the blue Sky Movies 1 ident, but '1' being replaced with freeview or whatever it was called. I assume they're doing the same next week on Sky Movies 3, but the ident being Sky Movies Multi Start.
Plus they had boring IVC before and after the film just promoting Sky Movies and how to subscribe. Though I have to say About A Boy was a good film, possibly the first time ever that Countdown has been on Sky Movies.

The TV Room will have contento of the Free-View Night and of general SKYmovies and SKYcinema presentation in a few days.
I have to say, seeing the idents in action, I am impressed.
Yes the previous SKYmovies premier ident had an epicness to it, but these idents are bright, fresh, clean, and impressive.
I give it 9/10 with the previous premier idents 8/10

The last Premier idents were sheer class, not too keen on the new ones
