SKY+ Menu change

I'm getting used to the new EPG after a few days now. It's odd if you pick the "All Channels" option, cos there are so many gaps where they leave one between the different genres, and cos they are so mixed up now there are gaps all over the place.

That will change when they re-arrange the channel numbers at the end of next month.

It's quite nice having your "own" listings from the favourites now, so I don't suppose many will use the "All Channels" option for much longer.

Personally, I'm well impressed with the changes.

Ah, so the EPG shake-up happens first, <i>then</i> the channel numbers. Interesting.

Channel 999 has an overview of the EPG changes, for anyone who's interested. Plus, if you don't press the red button, there's entertainment for goldfish.

I'm looking forward to the addition of the Favourite Channels grid - All Channels is more or less useless on Freesat.

This is old news to me. I heard about this a while ago but I had no idea when it was going to happen.

Again Ive never seen any point in this feature. I can just remember the channel numbers of ones I watch .....

Again, dead handy with Freesat, when you can only receive a handful of channels, and want to see at a glance what's on the ones you'll actually be able to watch...

Isn't it easier now though to see all the channels you watch in its own EPG section? Without the clutter that you don't watch?
