Sky Living to become Sky Witness

So My Kitchen Rules and A&E docs continue, despite clearly not fitting in to the new branding.

Yeah, those should move to Sky 2 or Real Lives.

As I'm sure some of you are dying to know, Sky have managed to get @SkyWitness as their Twitter handle. The previous owner must have had to give it up or Sky offered them enough money to get them to release it.

The bio still gives their web page as sky.com/sky-living though.

Twitter will usually release it for you if you can prove they're infringing on your brand's reputation or any trademarks you hold.

Isn't anyone going to comment on the idents?
I saw one this morning which starts off with the logo being a sort of window (like in the promo), the logo zooms in to reveal police officers witnessing a crime scene. A blonde woman looks at the back of a car, which then has the logo window zoom back in on screen and the Sky Witness logo appears on a black background.
Yeah. That explanation was a bit naff but overall, the idents suit the channel well. Very slick.

I've caught two other idents so far - Car Chase and Courtroom. They all follow the same format where the 'witness' part of the logo is a window into the action.

Thought the recent set felt a bit interim-y... wouldn’t be surprised if other channels follow suit with a refresh, it is sky afterall!

Good enough idents

So curious, however, they'll still keep non-crime programmes to the channel

Witness to me doesn't mean 100% crime

Yeah, it could mean something else.
Like witnessing something exciting, dramatic like their dramas.
