As announced a while back, Sky has now launched its "Sky Card".

It's basically a Mastercard which is compatible with your Sky Box so that you can insert it in the interactive slot of your digibox.

Every time you spend £1 with the card, you get 1 "SkyPoint" which can be used to save money on your sky package.

An interesting idea.

You get 1p "reward" per £1 spent. In other words, you'd need to spend £1950 a month on your Sky card to get the Family Pack free. If you're spending that amount then you're not really going to care much about the £19.50 you pay Sky.

It's a gimmick.
