Please could you tell me where i could download ok quality mp3s of music from the 1995 and 1996 sky idents, extended themes and announcerless ones are even better.
I don't know if you know this but the Sky Symphony from 1995 is on the private parts of the MHP Chat list. Its a large download, but very worth your while.

I just downloaded that now, but its not what i'm looking for.
Below is a link to the sky one ident from the time i am on about, its low quality and has a voice over, but you can clearly hear the theme.
Very few clips exist around from this period which is a shame. I think the best bet might be with Cheshirec, as he has a lot of Sky clips.
I would also to see and hear some clips from this era, it was one of the best periods from Sky. Presentation wise, all the channels are pants apart from Sky News of course.
Oh yeah, Bring back Sky Soap and Sky Scottish!

I've said it before and i'll say it again, that is my favourite set of idents, both versions, they just work so nicely, but there is very little available on the net, before my computer broke, i'd built up quite a good collection, of sky 1, sky1 primetime, sky 2 trail, sky sports(which is the best - could do with being better quality, you can find it at tv world), sky sports 3, and a sky news, and the ten year sky one trails at tv home(theres about 1 second!) but it took alot of searching.
Martin is already a member of MHP chat so he knows where to get it. Anyone else that doesn't know about it will not be able to get it and even if they do, it might encourage them to join.

I think another Sky Symphony has just been uploaded... from 1996.
1995 was already up.
I have the 1993 Symphony (the best).
I also have a few idents from 1996 and a couple from 1995.
When I can (finally) find enough webspace to fit all of the files I want on the TV Ark Satellite section, they will be available to download.
