To be fair, I don't think you are being over judgemental, if you have recieved any information to say that the claim is false. However, you could just voice your complaint through the apropriate channels: the 'report this post' feature, instead of making a post that has nothing to do with TV Presentation.
I am aware that I am being hypocritical here as my posts have also had nothing to do with TV Presentation, but I think it is important that new members are welcomed and not just made to feel like outsiders like UKTV Games and myself, and that others should just accept that people may make a few mistakes in their first few posts here, just as I am sure all members would have liked when they first joined.
New members have as many rights as other members, and therefore the others should not try and mark their territory as soon as somebody posts. While they may see it as we are making a nuisance of ourselves, and spoiling the atmosphere here, just try and let it be, and the moderators can ban anybody who breaks the rules, and eventually, some of the newer members can make a really positive contribution to this place.
So please try and welcome new members, as everybody here was a new member once.
As an articulate and apparently intelligent new poster I shouldn't think you will face any such unwelcome tones. I say that even having doubted your post in the Corrie thread about, "not watching any more", as it's a phrase often used by the most regular of soap viewers. I apologise if my tone was unnacceptable in that thread.
I could have mentioned that I had dropped a quick email to my mate; but it frankly isn't worth getting into the detail with spam merchants.
I would indeed urge you to read UKTV Games posts (available by clicking his name), and you can make your own determination.
Although I do use the RTP function where I feel it's appropriate, that doesn't neccessarily mean that I won't make a public reply to a post which begs a response.
The fact is TVN, UKTV Games and others of his ilk, such as Scottishender have joined these boards purely to cause mischeif and wind everyone up. If they choose to make idiotic posts and threads, then they can expect nasty and bitchy responses. Its not a case of not treating new members without respect. Im sure we would all welcome a new member who has a valuable contribution to make, but alas the people mentioned above do not. Perhaps you should read some of the other posts made by UKTV Games and realise why he gets such replies. The moderators cannot patrol the boards 24/7 and there needs to be some kind of controlled self policing. We all use these forums so why should they be polluted by a moronic minority?
As I have said in the past, there is NO POINT is replying to ANY thread created by UKTV Games or Scottishender or anyone else like that; they are trolls and crave attention. If you ignore them, they will in time go away.

I will take that on board regarding 'UKTV Games' then; I didn't realise he was one of
them
. scottishender is a weird one for me, he appears to start making (or contribute) valid points or suggestions one minute, and then starts digging himself in a hole the next.

I agree - he has made maybe one or two decent threads at most, but the sheer amount of other bilge he has posted has more than cancelled it out, so thats why I have no time for the person.
