You are a waste of a keyboard.

I refer you, Mr Scott, to my post in the "Stockwell Incident" thread.

I'm sorry to talk out of turn, but what right do you have to talk to another member like you own the place?

Would that be the reference which advises Hymagumba that it is not his place to criticise nuisance posters?

In which case I'm afraid I must respectfully disagree.

Then I must ask, what is it that gives Hymagumba the right to criticize others, when he has not been put in a position of authority by the administrator, who decides the rules and therefore decides who upholds them?

Anyway... these sky channels sound interesting.

As you have expanded on your original post then so shall I.

I am under no illusions about the ownership of this site. We are, in the main, a happy bunch with a common interest. Those however who invent stories or otherwise create disruption and annoyance are unwelcome by the vast majority of the membership.

The poster in question has announced information which I have had denied to me by a friend in the call centre in Livingston. As a department manager he is kept advised of channel launches and changes as this has an impact on the ultimate sub price to the consumer. Ergo the story is a fantasy from a poster who's record is particularly weak. You can check that for yourself if you look at his post history.

I'm sorry if you feel that I am being overly judgemental; but it is fair to say I am honest and don't suffer fools gladly.

If the poster in question can provide evidence of his statement, I will eat my hat.

With relish.

To be fair, I don't think you are being over judgemental, if you have recieved any information to say that the claim is false. However, you could just voice your complaint through the apropriate channels: the 'report this post' feature, instead of making a post that has nothing to do with TV Presentation.

I am aware that I am being hypocritical here as my posts have also had nothing to do with TV Presentation, but I think it is important that new members are welcomed and not just made to feel like outsiders like UKTV Games and myself, and that others should just accept that people may make a few mistakes in their first few posts here, just as I am sure all members would have liked when they first joined.

New members have as many rights as other members, and therefore the others should not try and mark their territory as soon as somebody posts. While they may see it as we are making a nuisance of ourselves, and spoiling the atmosphere here, just try and let it be, and the moderators can ban anybody who breaks the rules, and eventually, some of the newer members can make a really positive contribution to this place.
So please try and welcome new members, as everybody here was a new member once.

This prat has already mentioned this in one of his wide collection of pointless threads.
