Now you listen here. You haven't been on this forum long, so who the hell do you think you are setting rules for who can post what and where?

IF YOU DO NOT LIKE A THREAD DO NOT READ IT.

That is the purpose of the forum.

Got it?

One real bit of advice for Katherine (who I must stress have nothing against at all - infact loved the slideshow!) is look at the EPG its very good, but please take this dribble to a chat room!

Just you wait until January and I see Midlands Today for the first time ever - THEN you'll know the definition of the word dribble!

No Mr Videowall you listen here -

I haven't been on the forum long under 'Cross Company' BUT I am here under another name...so back up you little runt because I know for a fact that you haven't been on it that long either!

I'm just having a bit of fun...get a life.

If only you knew who I was and what sort of inside information I could tell you.

(Can I just apolgise to everyone else in the forum who obviously knew I was joking and didn't take it too seriously! Sorry you had to sit through that little rant at the top there.)

And for the record Katherine I'm pleased you have Sky Digital and I hope you enjoy every minute of it!

Merry Christmas forum!

I've been on since May. And you're saying you've been on under a different name? Isn't that against the rules of the forum?

Asa,

Sorry for ceating this thread. I did not know it was potentially inflammatory and likely to waste bandwidth. Accept my most sincere and heartfelt apologies.

However, Cross Company, I created this thread in good faith, to share this news with other people on here. It has taken my parents much convincing to get Sky Digital, but since my diagnosis of autism in October, the acquisition of it has most likely preserved a part of my autistic routine that brings me much pleasure every Monday - Friday.

This is why I created this post, to share with the forum my utter joy at having the wherewithal to see HArry and Christa long after Belmont splits from Emley, so my routine can carry on, unblemished by re-regionalisation. I am secure in brain and much relieved. Cross Company, yes, I am autistic, feel emotions and perceive situations differently and behave differently to the rest of the other forumers on here.

If you know about autistics and the obsessive routines and the like (one of which for me is Look North in its CURRENT FORM), you'll know damn well why I am so enthusiastic about getting Sky Digital. How can you possibly NOT know, seeing as you've been in here quite a time? Are you being selective of memory?

Yours, Katherine.

Which is very appreciated I'm sure by everyone on the forum but your tone of your first message here wasn't particularly nice at all. This is a TV Forum and people are free to talk about TV related topics. This thread allowed people to talk generally about Sky Digital as well, something which hasn't been really been done here before.

Isn't it more of a waste of space and time to complain about a thread that you think is a waste of time? It's probably best as a general rule to stick to threads you enjoy reading.

Cheers, Asa

You used the past tense. Aren't you important anymore?

Doesn't surprise me.

Anyway, you've already told us who you are, you work for ITN. I don't care what your name is.

Kat has good reason to be pleased about getting Sky Digital, she's waited for it long enough and it will secure her viewing of Look North for a good while yet. Surely that can only be good news.

I suggest you hobble off back to Grey's Inn Road, allow the boss to inform you that you've been sacked due to ITN slimming down its operations and preferably don't post such insulting comments again.

Thankyou active, I'm flattered your first post was in my thread! You'll find me somewhat pro-Look North (LEEDS version, NOT HULL).

If you've ever known anyone with Asperger Syndrome (a form of autism) or Dyspraxia, you'll know lots about me already. Virgin Cross Company Trains is thankfully in the stuffy minority of contributors.

All in all, we're a pretty accepting bunch, keen about lots of aspects of television presentation (and ITV Digital's Monkey, right Square Eyes?). Glad you've come to join us.

Would you like a cup of tea?
