It's noise on the line from the Sky Box, nothing to be worried about, but if you've got a modem on the same phone line, I would unplug the Sky box while using it as it will probably slow down you connection speed.
Thanks, it did but it doesn't when the box is in standby, as it is now!!

This is such a waste of space, holding a forum about a someone getting Sky Digital - Katherine keep it to your self, whether its been an on going thing or not, best to keep it to the chat rooms!

Oh that's another good thing about ITV Digital, doesn't need to be plugged permanently into the phone. only for ordering certain things through the remote.
A good thing about cable- you never need to be connected to the phone- its all done free down the TV path with a 512k modem!

Kat - one channel to look out for is the BWSC the 'Boring Waste of Space Channel' their nightly news programme BWSC at six looks at threads in the TV Forum and reports on what a waste of time they are...
Oh and to the person who told me not to read it... Well duh! This is a forum you are supposed to read it, except what a waste of space this is people giving someone the lowdown on their favourite TV channels PLEASE! One real bit of advice for Katherine (who I must stress have nothing against at all - infact loved the slideshow!) is look at the EPG its very good, but please take this dribble to a chat room!
