See also DigitalSky.co.uk..

Seems like at some point before or in the early stages of said fight the encryption got turned off.

Anyone know what's going on or whether something like this has happened before? e.g. did they have problems with people who *had* paid but couldn't get it?

I managed to watch half of a Winnie The Pooh film on Sky Box Office, before they turned it off. I phoned up later and bought the whole film - it was really good. The analogue encryption was worse, you'd often be able to watch the first five or ten mins of a film without paying.

I wonder if compensation will be in order for those who paid for the fight?

I remember in the old Sky Analogue days, Sky Box Office 4 once showed a film for free, when Sky realised, a message appeared apologising for it being shown FTA, and told people who paid to phone Sky, quoting their viewing card number to get a full refund.

I once saw a programme on Television X: The Fantasy Channel free to air called 'Extreme Close Up.'

Very nice it was, to Very Happy

Shame Front Row is sound and the encryption never messes up (authough on analogue several films came through free we've never had it since we went to digital:( )
