Saw this ad yesterday. A nicer logo I think than before. I see Sky are starting to incorporate their corporate font more now. About time! They paid for it, you think they'd use it every chance they get. Plenty of Sky stuff still uses their previous fonts and it looks messy.
The removal of the slanted A suggests the existing idents will be replaced. Similar style logo to Sky News with the gradient shape altered. The Arts text seems to be in a much smaller font compared to the existing Sky logos and new Sky News logo.
Hopefully this rebrand will mean an end to the unnecessary "HD" tag on references to the channel.
I've never liked the way Sky's channel are referenced (both visually and verbally) as "Sky x HD".
There has been a lot less of it recently, particular on other media (e.g. online) and some other channels, but it's still quite prominent on air on channels including Sky Arts 1 & 2.
The new logo sticks out more as a brand with the colours emphasising on the channel's various genres in addition to Sky's corporate brand where as the current one is a bit generic.
Sky Arts has been added to the catch up section of On Demand, with the new logo.
This is basically a duplicate of the box sets programming (the box sets section is still "Sky Arts" and "Sky Arts 2").
Sky Arts catch up is now included in the Sky Channels section, which makes sense, as it would be almost impossible to find the small number of watchable catch up programmes amongst the box sets programmes (which are still only available to those with the family bundle).
Other channels' box sets programming is only included in the "Box Sets" section, so I'm surprised they've added it to the catch up section.

I think it's perhaps an interim measure that everything in Catch-up for the 'Sky Channels' option also appears in the new 'Sky Arts' tab on the Home Page.
I suspect they'll be removed from 'Sky Channels' when the relaunch happens.
No other programmes are duplicated in different tabs.
