sky anytime, formerly known as sky by broadband, is an internet service which allows sky movies and sky sports subscribers to watch their favourite shows online.
On a related note, if anybody knows how to get the Sky Anytime for Mobile service working on a Windows Mobile PDA I'd be grateful for some pointers - this is supposed to allow the remote record feature of Sky+ to be used over GPRS rather than paying over the odds for text messages.

I didn't even get that far when I tried a few weeks ago .. haven't bothered since!! From the way they've written their website to make it as hard as possible to actually install the product in the first place it seems it's not worth having and they know it!! But can still advertise the service. (After all that's what we do!!)
The installer is dodgy (hence many people being unable to use it for ages as it insisted on having WMP 10 when most of us were on 11). However, apart from that now fixed problem with WMP, I haven't had any other troubles.
