A huge revolution ahead

I think the BBC are jumping ahead with this article headline:

I believe they are wanting to capture the market that either don't want (or can't have) a dish, not to replace existing customers using DSat.

I use my broadband for the Catch-Up services, or Box Sets, or Movies, but I don't really want to clog up my fibre broadband with streaming video constantly if there is still an alternative delivery method.

Looks like this is becoming an annual announcement for Sky:

Seems to be very much a re-hash of that announcement other than to say that's going to be later than expected and to announce that other European markets will be first.

Oh, and also a USB stick that they really hope will be an Amazon and/or Netflix spoiler.

It's almost like the company hasn't been subject to negative press in recent days. (Last announcement came during the Discovery dispute and extortionate costs for Premier League rights)

I think it's starting to make sense why NOW TV will soon be offering 1080p HD. Offer the customer a taster with a limited selection of live channels per pass and then try and get those NOW TV customers to upgrade to the Sky IPTV service.
