Calm down dear I haven't got it yet!!! It was just an assumption that I think a lot of people made.

I'm inclined to beleive it was just you.

It doesn't make any logical sense to have a series link that picks up *different* series on *different* channels.

Logically, I should be able to set it for the current series of EastEnders on BBC1, or an old series on UKTV Gold.

But to get BOTH would require me to link the series separately.

Oh well my mistake.

Well they put my Sky+ box in today, unfortunately they didn't send the viewing card in time so I can't watch it. Then they told me to use the card from an existing box until the new card arrived, but unfortunately I can't record!! Apart from that everything else is fine!! Rolling Eyes

They don't need to send you a new viewing card, they need to activate the recording facilities by upgrading the one you have over-the-air.

As marksi said. You'll only receive a new card if you have taken Multiroom and that new card will be for the second box.

Just give Sky a call and they'll switch Sky+ features on.

Well I do have Sky multi room but they didn't send the two viewing cards that I need. I just called them and if I take thje viewing card from the existing box it'll be paired up with my Sky+ box and will no longer be able to go back in my original digibox; so I'll just have to wait.

Good news though I can get Bikini Beach. Real feel good television!! (COUGH)
