Skins has been recommissioned for a second ten-part series according to MediaGuardian - again for E4.

The first series will be aired on C4 during the summer.

No - I think they'll treat this a bit better and with Sugar Rush axed, probably give it an 11pm post-Big Brother slot from May.

Did Sugar Rush do badly second time round then?

More of a cost cutting thing really I think.

Also, it's already been said that C4 weren't keen on having both Skins and Sugar Rush hence the reasons Skins, which initially was commissioned for the main channel, was moved over to E4.

Probably the best place to but this little rant.

Every Thursday E4 mess around with their 'Skins: Tonight 10pm' DOG. Its either all in a line or stacked.

The lined DOG is REALLY intrusive. On E4+1 now it is stacked but on E4 it is lined. So again they refuse to stick with one.

The stacked one is much more sensible; the text is smaller and its much less intrusive.

Anyone else sick of this or do I seriously need to get out more Laughing

Generally it's the stacked one on Hollyoaks so that's all I've really seen - annoying at first, but though I don't mind the channel logo DOGs, I don't like these promo ones at all (though the "First Look" ones are just as annoying). It's not as if they don't mention Skins at the beginning and end of every ad break on Thursday evenings!

I don't mind the in-programme purple caption thing so much - it's usually done pretty early on so it doesn't interupt the programme too much - and to be honest tonight I didn't notice it until it was animating off screen!

Tonight's episode should be good with Tony's sis and the weirdo abduction.

Do you think we'll see that guy again from last week who had a fling with Michelle?

No idea - he's supposed to be that Abi's brother so if he doesn't turn up again this year, I'm sure he will next series.

Talking of which, they've had a pretty impressive guest cast this year mainly playing the kids parents - so I hope they can get them back for future series rather than replacing them with unknowns and hoping we won't notice.

Fantastic episode tonight - probably the best of the series, and better for not having a **** clue what was going on for the bulk of the episode, unlike the mainstream soaps and drama where if the full plot is not given away in the episode blurb, the continuity announcers do it before hand!

What a... bizarre episode. It seemed to be a bit exaggerated, but what a story. Showed a different side to Tony - hopefully he'll change for the better.

Fantastic acting from Nick, by the way.

Very good and slightly creepy in parts. Loved last night's.
