Doing double shifts are they? What happened to the phone operators?

Price Drop still showing purple caption - Peter Simon on Bid TV said it was a power cut 'in North East London' - does anyone know where Bid TV is uplinked from, because as I said the studios are in Acton - which is NOT North East London - so that means it could have been a fault at the uplink (either that or Peter's not very good with his geography!)

Price Drop back but with no sound - and they've just gone back to the caption!

Price-drop are now playing their backing music, totally clean.

Edit: now they're back.

At least I didn't get any clueless muppets emailing me asking why m channl's had gon off, and whether I'd be shipping their CD in time...

.... no really I've gotten emails like that before from people who can't spend 2 minutes to look what's on the website they're actually looking at before firing out emails, despite the large number of pointers telling them to go to Situp! Laughing

Half of the 'babe' channels are also off air with similar captions/blank screens or frozen pictures. E.g. Sky channels 955, 954, 952, 949. It had me worried when I saw the blank screen, I thought I'd gone blind due to too much viewing.

Peter Simon has a tendency to waffle on endlessly, cut sentences off and point out random things all in the same breath. According to him the channel only has a four digit phone number and the current phone number is an extension of the current quantity available ("0904 19 and against you"). And yes he claimed the station is in North East and North West London.

Isn't this the third time in the last 18 months or so Sit-Up TV have fell off the air due to power problems? Do they not have back-up generators? They make a fortune every day as it is.

Made interesting viewing though, cameras going everywhere, in shot and the stage hand moving items in and out in full camera view with flashing back screens, mic drop-outs and everything. No interludes though, but the channel worked a lot better going from item to item without pointless "we're good" videos in between the auctions.
