Price drop has a new caption advising people of "due to technical difficulties we are unable to continue with price drop tv. We will be back with you soon"

THe other sit up channels still have the same caption.

I won't bother doing a mock this time, mostly because I'm watching a Bill Bailey DVD and eating pickle sandwiches.

Didn't Ideal World have captions like that at one point... or was that Sit Up TV as well?

Well it's certainly not a local power cut (as far as I'm aware) because I'm in the same area of London as Sit-up TV and we've got power... might either be a different part of Acton, or just the studios

We don't even get a full service in Wales thank god.... half BidTV, half QVC.

Unfortunately it's only cos we have to squeeze in the equally useless but apparently needed S4C2.

Why do we have S4C2?! It only broadcasts on Tuesdays. It's the most useless channel in the world, even worse than Bid TV! Atleast on there i can buy a crappy MP4 player for my dad for Christmas. Or a box set on Only Fools And horses for my grandad!

Actually it broadcasts on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays. It provides a public window into the world of the Welsh Assembly, a publicly elected body. It costs next-to-nothing to run and is also used for extended coverage of Welsh events like the Eisteddfod and Royal Welsh Show. As such, when compared to the in-your-face shop window fronted by ex-celebrities and ex-students desperate to get into television flogging you cheap ripoff crap, it's not so bad.
