None of the Sit Up channels (Sky 635, 644 and 655) are able to show graphics for some reason. The Bid-up presenter has been doing a rather good job of filling for the past ten minutes. Price Drop and Speed Auction were filling and have now gone to Screenshop.

Update: All three channels are now showing Screenshop.

There was problems with the phonelines yesterday and without phonelines, there's no channel. Laughing

They have had various problems in the past but what kind of problem would cause them not to be able to show graphics?

Both Bid TV and Price Drop are breaking out of Screenshop to show the scheduled adverts.

It's only a couple of months since all the channels went down!

Price Drop came back on air at 9pm. I see that they now show pennies to the drop. Is this just some psychological thing to make people think the numbers are still dropping even when the pounds barely move as much now.

Someone must've left the door open - we've had quite heavy rain here in West London (I'm literally 10 minutes walk from the Price Drop studios), so the weather's probably got to the graphics!

Perhaps it might be something to do with the Champions League being on but that might be just a bit of coincendence!

The graphics computer crashing could do it! Fact of life - computers crash! Sad

Would 3 live channels be running off of the same computer?

They come from adjacent rooms in the same building ,and therefore are bound to be using the same technical infrastructure.

It makes no sense having 3 seperate setups for each channel - it's costly and inflexible

The computer system used by Sit Up channels is more than your usual system to throw a few astons together, it needs to be integrated with the phone bidding system and with whatever is used to decide when the price needs to drop etc.
