Season 1 was very different wasn't it! Not only the animation and character drawings (i.e. Smithers having a sort of orange face, Barney having blonde hair, Chief Wiggum having black hair etc), but the pace of the episode. Not forgetting of course the voices changing too, especially Homers.
I understand that some of the first season was animated in the US before moving production to Korea for the subsequent series. "Key" frames are still produced in America, whilst the Korean studio produce all of the frames in between.
Channel Four negotiated for the rights to the later series (from 12 onwards?) so you won't be seeing any of the early shows there.
You'll know the Season 1 Title sequence, as the bit when Bart is on the Skateboard, instead of skateboarding across the road and then Marges car comes screeching past straight away, there's a bit where he steals the Bus sign from the road as people are waiting and the bus drives straight past and the people start running to chase it. You also see an extra bit with Lisa riding her bike and the books on it jumping up and down which lead into the final bit at the house.
History lesson for you there sir.

Plus that the traffic lights in the first part have square, badly-drawn lamps.
