Fair comment and duly noted. And your suggestions for non-returning shows are....???
wwtbam - when that ends it should never be brought back again, its boring. Also Crossroads shouldnt be brought back again ever.
Fair enough. Neither should Shortie Street. Now neither will return, we're both happy.
Millionaire should return although they should revitalise it a bit. Mind you running it twice a week for four months wasn't the wisest move ever...

Because the last time this was said, the reason its so long as it is is because IIRC it won't appear in the ratings unless its at least 15mins long. This may have changed since. I do agree that to stick a gameshow either side of it was good initially but wore off in April 1995.
Flog It! is daytime version of Antiques Roadshow. I watch it every so often to see some mug pay hundreds of pounds for something cheap and tacky. Talking of which, James Martin hasn't appeared on the programme yet

Plus any show that has the words "National Lottery" in it. Why can't they just either have a caption or just do the draw for 5 mins and get it over with instead of inventing worse and worse games for Dale to present?

Another pet hate is Flog It! I just don't like the format at all, it's like the antiques roadshow revisted (like how Ground Force repeat a show then clag a bit at the end to pretend it's new).

He's more likely to pop up on a similar show that lives in a certain ITV timeslot...

Hymagumba, shut up! With James Martin having been kicked out for some time now, you are slowly, but surely, becoming the forum's newest irritant.
Agreed with Jez and Mr. Martin on this one though, Crossroads was laughably appaling when it got to the 2003 series. It's originial comeback wasn't that bad, they just got rid of Jill, Adam and Doris rather too quickly I feel - but that cake-baking nut who took the lead from Kate, what a joke. Leave it to be remembered in programmes like I Love 2003, when they get round to making it. As for Scott, that reminded me of the time they replaced Sarah Sugden in Emmerdale! Tragic, tragic.

Jane Rossington wanted to leave after three months but not be killed.
Tony Adams was due to return in May 2003 but didn't.
Kathy Staff quit because of the amount of sex in the proggie. Feb 2002.
"Cake baking nut" = Jane Asher.
I recommend a hefty dose of info, available without a prescription from any of the major Crossroads related websites.
I think not, Hyma does not bring this up in every single post he makes unlike Mr Martin did prior to his being "kicked out". Hyma's just excited due to new material received to his person by the postman today, that's all. Back to normal by, ooh, week next Friday

Hyma is *VERY* excited about it. I've now had it here for 14 hours and I'm still astounded by it.

Im in shock after someone has agreed with me re Crossroads
I think im going to faint any second now
Neil, I actually enjoyed Crossroads Mark 2 with Jill Harvey/Chance and Doris Luke - I was glad Adam left though, never liked him especially when he returned at Xmas 2001 with that awful beard. I think the bis mistake of Crossroads 2003 was it was made into the "Angel Samson" show not the "Kate Russell" show that 2001-2 was. My fave ep of Mark 2 was when Sarah arrived and said "Im Sarah-Jane" and Jake said "who?" and she said "Sarah Jane Harvey" - everyone thought that Louise Dixon was Sarah-Jane at that point!
And if Kathy Staff quit about the amount of sex in Mark 2 what would she have said about Mark 3?

Doesn't really matter as she wasn't in it although I dare say she'd have said the same again or may well have come out in support of Jane Rossington when she called Mark III a "brothel".

I've reported this to Asa now. It's really annoying and other members agree with me.
It's not 'his fault' or 'his fault' either. You're all to blame for constantly bringing up this laughable discussion. Forget about it, as you are all providing an irritation to the rest of the forum. ALL OF YOU.
