Does anyone remember Student Bodies? It was hyped like mad by CBBC and I think the cast were flown over to appear on Live & Kicking. Was the show initially screened on Live & Kicking perhaps? I can't recall.

It was clearly inspired by Saved By The Bell.

I was obsessed with this for a while! I remember it was on Saturday mornings, but over the summer when Fully Booked was on on Sundays. May have had a repeat run on Live and Kicking.

Might have got this wrong, I also seem to recall that CBBC skipped a few episodes, and maybe never even showed the third season, as from season 2 onwards it got a lot more dramatic, lost a lot of the cartoon theme and had a few sex references that never sat well on the beeb. Think Trouble may have picked up the series later on.

Night and Day. There's a show practically nobody remembers but was also quite good. Treated badly by ITV though. You look at some of the big US series now and a lot of them are into the alternate timeline distopyian stuff. Maybe Night and Day was just ahead of its time?

Night & Day was stuck between a rock and a hard place because it was commissioned at around the same time as Crossroads yet wasn't actually first aired until November 2001, and presumably ITV just lost faith in it, then lost all patience by throwing it into some unGodly hour just to burn it off. You either liked it or you didn't.

Of course Night & Day was notable for this end-cap:

BBC Gen thing say 1998 - March 2002 there had episodes going out from 25Th April 1998 on Saturday morning. I wonder if all three series did go out since 65eps is possible over those four years.

Ah didn't even think to check that - it went out as part of Saturday Aardvark!

After 1998 and the first season-ish (looks as if the first season of 26 episodes was split into two runs of 13) it seems almost everything from 99 onwards was marked as a repeat. In fact after 99, it wasn't shown on the BBC again until 2002, and again a repeat run.

I remember Night & Day being announced as a Meridian production, but by the time it got on screen that had changed.

Yeah it originally went out on Thursday nights after the news, but eventually went out as late as 12.30am. Was never going to work in a daytime slot though.

Back in the mid 1990s, there was a daytime show on ITV, shown after the lunchtime news, hosted by Maggie Philbin. Only one series was made, where Maggie, and guests, were going to show you things to do, in order to get ready for Christmas. Tips on cooking, putting up or making decorations etc. I can't remember the title, but can remember what it was about. Anyone got any ideas?

EDIT: It was "Countdown to Christmas". Managed to find this clip. The person who posted the clip seems to find Maggie's outfit to be of more importance than the subject matter!

I like the design touch of the cutout Christmas tree shape, but considering this was a programme all about Christmas the set lacked any form of decoration and reminded me of a Sunday morning religious programme.

In a similar vein, ITV had a Christmas countdown programme called ‘The Christmas Show’ with Eamonn Holmes & Tess Daly, it ran at 5pm weekdays through December 2003.

One of the only clips that I can find:

Time for something REALLY obscure now.

For years I knew I'd seen a TV show on one of the children's channels or programming blocks on Sky in the late 90's which featured a woman and a puppet boy character presenting links from a flying bed (a bed superimposed on to a sky background via a blue screen). But could find nothing about it.

Well finally after asking around on a few places. I have finally found the show and my god is it trippy. It looks like something off Eurotrash. It was actually a dutch show called Tante Soesa & Sassefres . But they re-recorded the links in English and the show was broadcast on Fox Kids in the UK under the name Auntie Susa & Sassefres

Pretty much all the footage online is from the Dutch version but if you skip to 2:26 and 4:02 here you'll see the English version.

I also apologise in advance for how awful this show looks.

Who recalls the wonderful DJ KAT SHOW? With Linda de Mol (sister of Jon) and DJ Kat, it was a very early kid's show on Sky One. My children really loved it. Well, to be honest, so did I. Or am I the only one? There was a US version as well...
