BBC Choice's 'Tales of Uplift & Moral Improvement' (2001), a series of short dark comedy tales set in Edwardian England starring Rik Mayall.

Lost in time thanks to being around in the early days of digital telly, the only references to it on the net for years were mostly added by me (I was in two episodes of the show) until Mayall died, when it's become slightly more remembered at least. Still no Wikipedia page though.

Talking of BBC Choice, I was obsessed with this programme:

There was something very quaint but reassuring about BBC Choice.

I'm surprised there seems to be no clips from the mid-nineties CBBC series 'Out of Tune' online, considering it starred a young James Corden, Jane Danson and Charlie Brooks.

There's quite a good chunk of CBBC and CITV programmes from the 1990s and early 2000s that have faded into obscurity judging from the lack of YouTube clips and discussion of them on the internet.

Although TV programmes are subjective, anecdotal evidence I have picked up over the years points in a direction that the output from CBBC and CITV became less memorable after 1992ish compared with the 'golden' years of the mid 1980s to the early 1990s. Even so there are still some forgotten programmes from the 1980s. Does anybody remember the geography themed gameshow Worldwise on CITV? I think this was another TVS production!

Loved Out of Tune and Joshua Jones, there was one on CiTV called "Out of Sight" ehich 2 lads had a spray bottle that made them disappear. I have never been able to find any clips of it though online.

I hadn't watched Going Straight before. Quite enjoyed that first episode. Diners takes me right back to TX shifts on BBC Choice, we used to show that all the time. Along with Two Pints of Lager...

From a German airing but it is the programme you mention, Out Of Sight, recognise the title sequence (save for the added German)?

I've still got the complete series on VHS from my childhood.
