I remember a bizarre CITV series which aired around 2002. Called 'Dangerville' which was an attempt at a reality series for kids. Except it was entirely scripted. So it was more a drama about a reality series. A group of kids lived in a house for 10 weeks in a village called Dangerville (unsurprisingly) and each week a catastrophe of some sort would take place (I remember an escaped lion running loose in one episode) and they had to sort out the problem.
This is all the info I can find about it

Mike & Angelo didn't have canned laughter initially, it was added much later along with a horrible voiceover "intro" - and that was added retrospectively to the earlier episodes too for repeat purposes along with "revised" titles.
Here's an episode from Series 2 and the original titles - episode doesn't have a laugh track:
And this is Series 1 Episode 1 from a 1990 repeat after having the Series 3 titles and laugh track tacked on:
Although the initial "arrival with the moving wardrobe" segment at the start of the titles was still there 12 years later by the time of the final Mike in 2000 so they got their money's worth out of that little bit of tape...

I used to hate shows from Lee Pressman and Grant Cathro, the Glen A Larson of kids telly, there were loads of them, they used to go on forever and they all had a weird mid-Atlantic feel about them. Mike and Angelo was another one, smothered with canned laughter and weird American-style credit sequences in a transparent attempt to flog them abroad.

Don't see how T-Bag could be "forgotten" in the grand scale of this thread - some power-crazy lady who has magic and can make pretty much anything happen at the drop of a hat yet for whatever reason is ultimately totally dependent on an eight year old for cups of tea, the source of her power and no tea = no power? Brilliant!

First Class, a game show hosted by Debbie Greenwood, on BBC1, in the slot that followed CBBC, before neighbours came along on that slot.

My main memory of MasterTeam was it falling off air and being replaced by a BBC North VT clock when somebody at BBC Leeds and hit the opt switch too early.

Regards Masterteam, I've got a Masterteam quiz book at home. When I get back home tomorrow, I'll make a point of taking a photo and getting it up on here.

Almost forgot, as we're now mentioning Angela Rippon, and as Wimbledon is on, how about Matchpoint, a game show that was in the 13:40 slot on BBC1, circa 1989/90?
