Actually I remember a different programme from the mid-late 90s. It involved a man going undercover using a hidden camera disguised as a shoulder bag. The lens was hidden in the shoulder strap and he would go to places like a train station and experience poor customer service then confront them about it afterwards.

I think people have also forgotten that Donal Macintyre left all that to read the news on London Tonight, which was biazzare, and he left after not very long.

How about We Can Work it Out, the ITV Watchdog equivalent hosted by Judy Finnigan.

Or on a similar line, House of Horrors on ITV, which is basically the same as what Rogue Traders is now.

3D, the documentary strand hosted by Julia Somerville.

Which had two hosts if I remember rightly, I think Jonathan Maitland hosted the final series but can't remember who the other chap was.

A couple of other shows include Neighbours From Hell, Shortland Street and Life of Grime (anyone remember Mr Trebus?).

Talking of House of Horrors and Rogue traders rip off's. I remember Jonathan Maitland hosted another show called 'The Man in the Van'. Where he literally sat inside a white van and watched a cowboy tradesman rip someone off on the secret camera system they had installed in the home. All the monitors were inside said van.

I remember watching House of Horrors when it was shown during the daytime when I was (meant to be) on GCSE study leave.
