Some more children's tv that slipped peoples minds....

U Get Me - Early 2000's CBBC drama about a boy who runs his own pirate radio station. Ran for ages but seems to be forgotten.

Tiny and Crew - Programme that aired on The Children's Channel and then moved to Tiny Living. Pre-school show hosted by Sophie Aldred and some giant yellow monster called Tiny.

Beachcomber Bay - Channel 5 show situated on a boat. I remember the main character was called Salty Dog.

Energize - CITV show that aired for a single series in 1999. Presented by Jamie Baulch. Games were sport themed.

It's Not Fair! - CITV gameshow that aired as part of Scratchy and Co. Presented by Mike McClean. It was your usual 90's gunge based kids show situated in a studio done up to look like a fairground. Can't find any images and the only clip can be found in the middle of the CITV 20th birthday bash.

Insides Out - CBBC gameshow hosted by Mike Speight and Marsali Stewart. Games all revolved around body parts.

Anyone remember that show with Claudia Winkleman around 2000 that was a celebrity gossip show? It was on ITV in the early evening, probably where Home & Away used to be. I think it was just called Celebrity and was made by Carlton. Looked at Claudia Winkleman's Wiki page and there's no mention of it.

I'm sure Celebrity was Andi Peters and Penny Smith wasn't it? As unlikely a combination that may seem.

Also there was Exclusive, one of Channel 5's daily shows at launch, hosted by Julia Bradbury and (from memory) Jono Coleman.

I think it was on at 7pm or something each day. However, every night they had to make an edited highlights package of varying length in order to fill the gap between the 9pm movie and the 11pm Jack Docherty Show. But viewers switched off at this rubbish filler, In the end they stopped being so strict with their 'stripped' schedule and just started Jack whenever the movie finished.

Ah, I think you're right. There was definitely something around that time with Winkleman in though. She may have been a stand-in presenter.

I've trying to think of looking for that. But didn't really bother. And you found a episode!

Well, Winkers did Liquid News, of course, which did this kind of thing rather better.

Indeed, although of course that was of no benefit to Jack because it just meant nobody would know when it was on. There was a lot of that kind of thing in the early days of Channel 5, including of course 5's Company Late Extra to fill a gap after the teatime film. Exclusive was indeed at seven o'clock every day, with Julia Bradbury as you say and also a dull man called Jason Roberts. In the radical revamp of January 1998 they moved it to 5.30, but like many of the early C5 shows it just petered out rather than be properly axed so it went out at Sunday lunchtimes for a bit as well - initially an omnibus but I think in time it became the only showing. And then it finally ended.

Who remembers a Saturday night challenge show on ITV called "Body Heat", hosted by Jeremy Guscott and Sally Gunnell? It ran in 1994-6, and one of the challenges was the couples had to do a relay race round an indoor track, during an indoor athletics meeting that ITV were covering?

I believe the series ended in 1996, after ITV decided not to renew the rights to athletics events in the UK.

Body Heat means something different to me... I had L!VE TV first time around.

Talking of which, anyone remember when L!VE TV got an ITV commission of its Lie Detector series?
