I always watch 'Central' on 103 cos it caters for my region more. Mansfield should be covered by CARLTON but 90% if people here get YTV. But as cable is the most popular multi-channel platform here it shouldnt be a problem as CARLTON and YTV are carried.

I live in the Tyne Tees area and it got dropped.It ended on Carmen kissing Guy Warner-what happened next?

I loved the storylines which included;

The death of Nurse Steve Mills and that man's wife,TP
Carmen using a dead elderly woman's lottery ticket as if she bought it.

According to a report on Teletext the other week GMG dropped Shortie because 'it was too expensive'... although I think the daytime re-org (TBGIT, WoFort, C'roads etc) pretty much put it on the block... Carlt London don't show it 'cos they use the new daytime regional slot (1.10pm) for London Today... apparently although the UBM regions aired the show they have been steel-handed by GMG over this one and now Shortie won't be back 'anywhere within the GMG' according to the spokesbeing that talked to Teletext.
BTW I wasn't a Shortie fan... as I have mentioned on other threads the only soap I watch is N&D...
