oooooooooohhhh! Thats bloody typical. A little mention would have been nice, espcially to those non media fans who dont surf tvforum.co.uk etc. They would have no idea! Next week they will tune in at 2.30pm and get some local crap! Ah well. I caught a couple of episodes and they were good.

The last one I saw was when one of the characters was trapped in a lift with this mad man holding a doll and accusing the doctor of killing is son! Tense stuff! Ill miss it. I think!

The facts of the matter is that the show was performing for Calrton good in the Central region, good in the Wales region, ok in London and dire in Westcountry.

You have to remember that this is not a ratings issue at all, the slot has been networked away not just for Carlton but all regions, Calrton play the ratings cards to stop us fans moaning when the real reason is itv 1 network.

I noticed TV Forum is down under one of the site's Andy visits so what if he comes here and reads your comments?

Constructive criticism, maybe a bit too direct but I dare say most professional web designers (and I am not a professional) would have said similiar things.

Neil the reason the staff went on strike at Shortland Street was due to a long running storyline over pay issues - it ended with the nurses winning and getting the pay they deserved - Matt (Roy Snow) and Rachel (Angela Bloomfield) were excellent in this storyline.

I do like your website Neil but as im not particuarly interested in Crossroads anymore its not really appropriate for me - I much prefer SS site's like www.shortlandstreet.co.uk or the official SS site - these are the only 2 that are updated regular.

If you liked Mark II there is plenty of Mark II material on the site, it probably outweighs all Mark III content by at least two to one.

I liked Mark 3 initially - it was quite good for the first 6 weeks or so - then I became a bit bored with the storylines - Oona/Dave, Ethan and the Samsons. However I decided to carry on watching purely for the characters I did like - Kate, Tracey etc.

ROFL! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Although if read the Wales thread you will see I use LOL and ROFL quite a lot! My fave news prog is HTV News on ITV1 Wales.

Here are all the HTV Newsreaders and also some of the 6pm reporting team.

I don't think we should let Hymaguma see this site, he'll only freak out at the lack of basic HTML skills let alone a lack of XHTML Mr. Green

I didn't even realise any HTML had been used as apart from the dreadful colours there seems to be no formatting at all on the thing. That has to be the worst website I've ever seen in my life (except for Planet Crossroads - that was dire) - my eyes hurt now - I'm off to lie down..

Well a lot of people have signed the petition today alone - we have loads of signatures now. At least this will show Carlton the show has fans and it will also encourage other channels to screen the show.

I am also amazed at how poor the programs to replace SS must be - Our House and Renovation St? Purlessse do Carlton think more people will watch these shows? Renovation St isnt even a HTV prog yet they are showing this in the regional slot this week.

And how will it "encourage other channels" if all you're going to do is send it to Carlton? Mr. Green

Well it might get sent to other channels like Five etc?

I got sent loads of these when Crossroads finished and the "wow, 1.4m viewers, Channel 5 would be happy with that" type emails. Until you realise that it's 1.4m on the mainstream commercial channel, audience share of about 12% at 5pm, be lucky to get half that on Five I reckon in daytime.

I'm not saying it wouldn't happen Jez but Five have never picked anything up from ITV in their entire six and a half year history - why start now with a New Zealand daytime soap of all things? BBC Two have though, having picked up (and subsequently ruined) Blockbusters (as did Sky One after that) a few years back but I can't think of any other programme that leaped channels (apart from Fort Boyard, from Five to Challenge (new series), and Treasure Hunt from Channel 4 to BBC Two).
