It seems that 'The Money Channel' has finally ceased broadcasting. The Channel ran out of money and was playing repeats for months.

What is it with these personal finance channels that end-up folding for example Simply Money and now The Money Channel.

When the chanel first launched it looked good it's a shame it ended.

Any way we can find out officially if its now finished (as it was broadcasting on Friday, and its still on the EPG..)

A shame as I quite liked what I saw of their programmes - even though it was obviously archive material. However presumably there are enough other personal finance shows elsewhere (BBC Working Lunch and Its Your Money, and the evening programmes on Bloomberg which I've just discovered).

Take a look at Companies House, The Money Channel PLC has gone into administrative orders / Receivership.

So it looks like they will be losing their place on the EPG very soon.
