Pretty sure I had seen the "fake guest" guy somewhere before?

He is a character played by Dan Skinner. I honestly thought he was crap. The rest of the show was good though!!

I'd agree with you Rob. Here's an 'explanation' of Angelos...

I did miss the cack joke/tumbleweed bit, I thought it was going to happen when Vic followed on from that Amy Winehouse joke. I think the show was lacklustre compared with the show 15 years ago, I agree about the subdued response from the audience too

Georgie Dawes's "I do not have anger management problems" and Christine Bleakley's vibrating machine and dirty underpants ordeals were funny though! Perhaps Larry Hagman could be invited back Wink

I did miss the cack joke/tumbleweed bit,

I was quite glad they didn't do that again. It was a 1 series joke which developed as the series went on, there's only so many variants they can do on it. There's no need to continue every running joke, otherwise they'd might as well just repeat the series before last (the tumbleweed joke didn't appear in the last series with Will Self from what I remember)

Fair point, I had forgotten it wasn't on that previous series. I'd just always considered an intergal part of the show, along with "uranu/uvavu", "really wanna see those fingers" and so forth-- well I used to enjoy anyway Embarassed True enough they don't repeat every running joke, given the Dove From Above has had two other incarnations.

I actually enjoyed it. Took me back to being 13 years old again.

Why was Christines surname mispelled on the desk, as Vic introduced her and on his tattoo? Intentional or just a mistake and they couldn't be bothered to change it?

Christine even said that her name was mispelled when Vic shown her his tattoo.

I think it was intentional. They've done it lots of times with other guests in the past.

When Vic introduced her, he over-emphasised the the first syllable of her surname ("Bl ee k-lee"), so I think it was deliberate.

Tonight's show was rubbish. Too many repeated gags that were funny last week but not this week (e.g. Ulrika's New boobs, what's in the jar etc.) A few repeats like they used to have was ok but there were way too many tonight.

I hope there's a lot more new material next week otherwise I can see viewers not being impressed and switching off.

This series seems to be too scripted out in my opinion. Somebody needs to sack the editor as well.

Angelos was rather funny last night. His "impression" had me in stitches.

George's song was also superb. Other than that, the show was pants.

Seems they can't win then, last week people were commenting that they didn't like the fact they weren't doing the old running gags! Rolling Eyes
