Unlike Big Brother Etc, the show is pre taped and edited.
Its been cut and delayed becouse of massive issues with the production and narrative (you dont think the events are real and not contrived by producers do you?)
I'm told that took alot of work to bring it to air, including a major redit. Channel 4 will be aware of this and schedule accordingly.
The suggestion is the laurens and jamies of RDF cocked up the casting.
It's a T4 show at heart really and better suited to it's audience in the T4 slot. It did OK at 6.30pm last year (around 1m mark), but not spectacularly - and although it was more convenient for me, it never felt right in the slot.
It's 12noon slot now though does it no favours - just as in series 1 I'm sure I'll never get to watch it live and uninterrupted.
I've said all along it should get a primetime premiere on E4 during the week, and then air on T4 on the Sunday. That would solve the problem really, and it would probably get a healthy audience for E4 too - and add some much needed home grown content.
Brilliant show though on Sunday - loved the twist, though don't understand why it needs to be dealt with in a separate show.
