sharp aquos 37 inch lcd tv. LC37AA1H model

after serious consideration, i finally bought the tv in the title. however, when i brought it back home, i found it to be not as bright as when it was at the store.

my previous tv was a panasonic lcd 15 inch lcd tv. besides contrast and brightness, there is also a function called "backlight". i always had that setting at maximum.

but with the new tv, although the picture is clear, but the built in backlight is not bright enough. and there is no setting to increase the back light.

any suggestions, or anybody with a similar problem?

It's still under warranty, so why not take it back to the store and get a replacement . . . ?
