More changes coming from September 4th...the lunchtime news will be later and shorter!

How can it be later? -
The afternoon listings will be tight?

Somehow I don't think it will be later. All the main bulletins are at half-past <hour>, and 1.30 seems a bit too late.

May seem a bit too late but that's the plan here at this moment in time

My source is my employer, ITV plc

I don't know why it's seen as such a crazy scenario...This Morning does fairly well and they want to hold onto that. Plus they're not going to run their news at the same time as BBC1, so 1330 it is.

And it was a ludicrous decision to stretch it to an hour in the first place!

1.30 is quite late for a lunchtime bulletin, but I can the sense in wanting something else at 12.30 and not wanting to go head to head with BBC1.

But then Five have their lunchtime bulletin at 11.30, which I think is a bit early for lunchtime

I dont think 1.30pm is too late for lunchtime bulletin - id say lunchtime was between 12-2pm anyway.

I could see Five moving into the 12.30 slot when that becomes avaliable.
