Shafted, ITV1's newest quiz show hits our screens on Monday night.  It's meant to be another 'mean' quiz with a BIG cash prize, where the contenstants have to decide whether to 'Share or Shaft'.

The set looks a cross between the Weakest Link & Millionaire.

Robert Kilroy Silk hosts, is he about to become Britains most hated man ?

It looks a bit like the quiz show that was on Channel 4 a few months ago I cannot remember what it was called, but contestants tried to make it to nu,ber 1 by answering questions correctly, and if they got one wrong they would go right down to the bottom, and every round the bottom two went head to head to seee who would be eliminated.

I think it had that newsreader presenting it...

I am extremely excited about Shafted - Kilroy-Silk gave an interview some time ago, and was extremely excited by the format, which is unique. This could be the show to topple Link.

The show is produced by Initial Productions - the people behind Number One, funnily enough, and looks set to be a hit.

Look out also for a new show coming soon by Carlton Productions, called The Vault, with Carol 'I'm paid less now than I was a year ago' Vorderman.

BTW; Shafted is played for a possible £1 million prize fund.

Do I take it, everyone was too involved in the SKY/ITV tests?

If not, anyone see this new quiz show? what did you think?

Well you can watch ITV tests and a programme on ITV you know Wink

Anyway, yes I saw it. I liked it. It had an air of evilness to it, and some suspense too. A good quiz! Whether or not it looks good after 20 editions we'll have to see though...

Yes, it was very good!!!

I especially like the final part of the show, where both contestants could risk going home with nothing if they are both greedy and decide to shaft.

Love the psychological element of it as well, I'm waiting for someone to say 'I'm getting more money for us' and then go and shaft them at the end. That would be cruel.

Kilroy is well suited to the programme, I've just about had enough of Christ Tarrant's laugh and you never win much on The Weakest Link, although its worth watching for Anne's put downs.

Looks like it could be a hit!
