Shafted (one of my favourite shows) has been taken off the air for the time being, as ITV1 are not happy with the audience leading up to Cold Feet. It is to be replaced with an extra Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

However, ITV1 are holding out high hopes for Shafted, and IT WILL make its return to the channel in the new year (the date is yet to be confirmed).

Ratings had fallen by a million by the second show.

Very Happy

episode of Millionaire, its actually half of Tuesday's hour long edition.
Tuesdays 8pm show will only be 30 mins long.

Another great ITV decision!

I actually really liked Shafted - it was just different to other shows. Had more drama behind it, and it didn't involve Christ Tarrant. It better return soon, 3 shows - come on they have hardly given it a chance!

ITV need to sort themselves out and get a serious new objective, because frankly they don't know where they are going. They also have far too many soaps as well - because they know none of the other rubbish wouldn't pull in viewers.

Another WWTBAM? I'll get me coat...

I have to say that I think Kilroy Sulk is dreadful in the mornings on the Beeb, and was far worse on Shafted.

I, for one, am glad it's gone.

If it comes back, please can we have a proper presenter on it instead.

He's a great presenter - the Holy Grail of quiz shows.

Nick, if you'd bothered to read my post, then you would have seen that Shafted IS RETURNING in the new year - exactly the same format, same host - nothing will change. Oh, and his name is not 'Kilroy-Sulk'.

What about that shafting last night - £217,000 down the drain - now that was exciting television.

My goodness Mr Millionairefan, not getting a tad tetchy are we?  Wink

Now, what's that heading in a westerly direction at 30,000 feet?

Must be the humour going over your head!  Wink

Exactly! Just what you want from a quiz show.

Although I must admit, I am getting back into WWTBAM with this interactive thing - although when played in our household, it is very stressful. Also, that woman on tonight that was a bit mad - I couldn't stop laughing. I do like Chris - he is great actually, but it seems to be the same old stuff EVERY show. Although tonight's happenings added a bit of excitement - certainly made me chuckle.

I like Shafted - actually I like Millionaire as well, but then I am a bit of a gameshow connoisseur, as previously mentioned... well, let's just hope ITV1 stick to their decision and bring the show back...

You have a moment... and then I need a name.

Great!

If it means more Millionaire, then it's a good decision!

For entirely personal reasons, I cannot think of anything else than the smell of rotting haddock flesh when I see Kilroy on telly!

For entirely GENERAL reasons, yes, rotting haddock flesh and Kilroy Sulk, PERFECT combination.
