Sesame Street characters

OK, so I might be too old to watch the young programme, but hey - what's wrong with re-living old memories?! :

Sesame Street had some good characters. Some of my favourite characters are:

Elmo ~ Cookie Monster ~ Big Bird ~ Snuffles ~ The Count ~ Bert and Ernie

Big Bird, I love birds .

On Sesame Street? Are you sure?

Mine... Bert and Ernie. One of the all-time great double-acts. You've got to feel sorry for Bert really - it's not as though he's a *** ****** or some nasty ********* figure who needs to have the **** taken out of him, he just wants a quiet life but for some reason he's stuck with Ernie, poor guy.
