Just wondering if anyone here had any experience with dealing with Television production companies on the basis of selling ideas to them or maybe even a knowledge of what goes on and what one can get from a potential deal?

I know the most tempting thing would be to try and flog your idea to a company for an outright cash sum, but what if you'd actually like to be involved in the development and hopefully production of the show, if it was good enough even setting up your own production company to go produce it through and earn from rights deals internationally?

Probably just a pipedream but would be very grateful to know what's what before I proceed further

Look up Charlie Brooker on YouTube, there's a great sketch he does on trying to get a show commissioned Very Happy

If you think its worth it set up your own production company and sell it to a channel. Setting up your own production company and becoming a registered one only costs about £250.

Funnily enough, there was perfectly good advise posted in the thread that you posted last month.
