Security Alert On Big Fight Live???

Did anybody else just see on ITV1 about a security alert in Bolton where the Boxing is coming from???

I had just popped out of the room and im sure I heard about a security alert

Looks like a really fine start to ITV jamming up a general entertainment channel with something that ought to be on a specialist sports channel.

Don't get me wrong, I'm NOT in favour of terrorism of any kind, but I DO find this rather funny.

Can sport not be considered "general entertainment" then ? None of the five main terrestrial channels are particularly genre specific, and long may this continue.

I wholeheartedly agree with that!

I may not enjoy/like/endure boxing but I see it's place on terrestrial television - like any other sport...

I think you've been spending too much time in the vacinity of posts by people like Doug.

You might not like sports, but they've got a right to have a place on ITV1
