BBC Spotlight in the early 90's
This was a huge slab of stone coming out of a wall, it made the sort of noise a woman makes sliding her nails along the blackboard and actually made me feel quite sick.
The orignal Teledu Cyrmu idents were horrible but then again it was black and white.
And Harlech idents, perhaps the most shocking ident on tv ever?
Oh and the Yorkshire TV Orignal ident that YTV sent me in colour!
Yes just mopping up. The thing that gets me about the YTV ident is how it's practically remained the same throughout its entire history, ok done in 3D, and rotating etc, but the actual ident itself has never really changed.
Oh yes.
and Carlton kindly sent me a 2 hour tape of EVERY SINGLE 1997 IDENT THEY EVER USED.
Well, as you can imagine I was over the moon.
Sitting down watching 2 hours worth of possibly the worst idents ever to hit the ITV Network.
Oh what fun.
LOL no.
Only advertising funded companies give away idents.
Phone around, you will be suprised at what you will get.
Sky are prepared to give away many of their idents for school stuff etc.
But the key is to pretend you don't have a clue what an ident is.
