Has anyone else noticed that Sean Lock was on both a new episode of "They Think it's All Over" and a new episode of that Jimmy Carr panel show on Channel 4 at the same time? And now he's on a new episode of QI!

Sean Lock Panel Show overload surely? Not to mention Jeremy Clarkson being on 2 panel shows Razz

They Think it's all over? I thought it was, are they still making that? It went downhill when Lineker left Rolling Eyes

I like Sean Lock but IMO, he suits panel shows better. I didn't think his own show was anything to write home about.

That episode of QI was an old one and he is always on 8 out of 10 cats because he is a team captain.

They Think It's All Over was total rubbish on Friday! They really need to end it now.

Personally, I thought it went downhill after Lee Hurst left. Anyone confirm the reason why he left the show? I heard that he had the hump when he wanted to pitch some new ideas and either Talkback or the Beeb wouldn't allow him to do so.

It should have ended when Linekar left. Since then they have had more regular team members than any other panel gameshow - only exceptions being Jonathan Ross (who replaced Lee Hurst) and Rory McGrath. Even in the last series Nick Hancock wasn't in it (was he in Friday's epiosde? - missed it due to being out partying in the centre of Den Haag). Also for the past few years it has been to-ing and fro-ing within the schedules so it has really become a bit of a filler programme for the Beeb

Nope, since last series onwards the presenter has been Lee Mack (probably best known for ITV's Sketch Show). I agree the show needs fixed slot in the schdules for it to stand a reasonable chance of surviving. Johnathon Ross wasn't on Fridays' show, though I guess that's due to him currently presenting Friday Night.

Well since neither show is recorded on the friday I doubt this really matters, other than to avoid Ross overload.

The annoying thing in Scotland is that AGAIN because of regional tat, we had HIGNFY at 10:35 after the news, and then we normally get Friday Night with JR at 11:05. But because of They Think It's all Over, JR wasn't on til 11:35 and wouldn't have finished until 12:30am- bizarre scheduling again by BBC Scotland.

Unless he's doing the odd advert for the Footie coverage on BBC Digital Wink
