Last night's programme was one of the best in the series so far. I know we criticise some of the techniques used in news broadcasts now, but I'd forgotten just how cheesy it used to be.

I had to watch the ending a couple of times because it made me laugh so much! Laughing Laughing

I loved it when he dug out the infamous Sky News blooper where the newsreader jumbled her words and accidently announced Harold Pinter had died then corrected herself saying he'd won the 2005 Nobel Peace prize!

The quality was quite bad so probably played off YouTube.

or, incidentally, with my G3 iMac. iWould have thought they would have made it OS X compatible if they were going to use the iPrefix.

That said though, Charlie is a genius. You should be able to switch on a commentary track whenever watching, say, a national football match, and listen as he scolds how the commentators turn into over-excited hot-water bottles every time anyone scores a goal. Laughing

Not strictly accurate. iPlayer is, apparently very Vista compatible, it just isn't officially supported under Vista yet (to keep the support issues at bay).

If you can get your browser to tell the BBC servers it is an XP browser not a Vista one it will install and work fine - apparently...

Agh. That Fox News "interview" made me want to punch my own TV. And I love my TV.

Wonderful start to tonight's programme.

I am glad Screenwipe is kept on BBC FOUR, I feel a shift to BBC TWO would equate to "selling out".

Ha! That's the second time Aisleyne from Big Brother 6 has been in this series, what's going on there then?

And did anyone spot Duncan Newmarch (I think) announcing into Screenwipe instead of the female announcer?
