The 110K figure IS for the ITV Breakfast weekend airtime. Where's another 390K at 7.30am on a Sat or Sun morning going to come from? Be lucky to crawl up to 150K at best.

Something else?

CBBC Channel? Not watching TV, because this new show creates a similar buzz to something like Dick & Dom or SM:TV did a few years ago.

I don't think see how you can write this off before you've seen it or know many details about the format.

What source do we have that this programme is even happening? Is it just the Daily Mail?

They got the story from The Sun. I doubt it's been made up.

It's too early for the 'buzz' effect. The programmes people are comparing it with, were at, even for kids, a much more reasonable time of 9.25.

Fearne Cotton (and Timmy Mallet) says otherwise.

Good to see ITV investing in CITV.

Yeah, don't forget, it's on the former GMTV airtime. That means it'll be on ITV, not just CITV. The ratings ought to be half a million, minimum.

Fairly sure their combined ratings are not even close to half that. CITV does horrifically in that slot. I think its often as low as a 6% share.
I was basing it on Daybreak's ratings, I admit. A little over half a million compared to over a million for BBC Breakfast.

Yeah, they're comparing it to the wrong shows. The articles compared it to Tiswas and SMTV, not Wide Awake Club and Toonattik like they should've (those being shows which had the same timeslot).

I have to disagree. Toonattik and GMTV's other childrens offerings over the years have worked well. That may be due to better programme because of the sharing agreement with Disney and Nickelodeon.

Hi TV Forum, long time reader, first time poster!

anyway its interesting to note CITV once again has a dedicated website at http://www.itv.com/citv instead of that address just pointing to the CITV section of the ITV Player website which it has done since around the last ITV rebrand/ 30th anniversary (http://www.tvforum.co.uk/forums/post856544). Its in the new style of itv.com shows pages' but it mentions scrambled.

Welcome, and thanks for finding that and posting it!

So it's under the CITV brand then. I thought they were done with using the CITV brand on the main ITV channel.
