The Scottish Style Awards - SMG

This is the worst thing I've seen in ages. Snooty, out-of-touch crap designed by media w**kers for media w**kers (well, if you're going to tick some public service boxes, you may as well keep your mates happy). Really cheaply produced as well - we're crashing from one award to the next without bothering with any of the speeches, and to fill the time we're getting random catwalk footage.

It's also old - one of the presenters was announced as "Beat 106 DJ Heather Suttie"...

So up its own arse it's unbelievable - you can't really imagine the average mainstream viewer in Larkhall watching it. If there was a Scottish version of Channel 4, fair enough, but this is a mainstream channel.

Not the best of days for SMG - half their presenters walk, we've got this cheaply produced, self-indulgent rubbish - the days of good regional programming are over, and I wonder whether ITV PLC could do a much worse job.

Although El Presidente are very good - they'll be too popular to be performing at rubbish like this very soon. But SMG even made an arse of that and cut them half way through. Morons.

Ah well - well done to presenter Sarah Heaney for her somewhat unfortunate: "There's always next year" comment. Not for you there isn't...

I think SMG should have made the programme an hour long. It was all too rushed and quick.
I'd much rather watch that than sone pointless Geliec (sorry about the spelling) crap!
