The presentation is getting more random - a generic ident before a Scottish Edinburgh Festival programme tonight, yet the news sometimes has celebrities beforehand. And the 'new drama' promo without a voiceover looks incredibly stupid. The network one will have a logo at least telling you what channel you're meant to be watching, we on the other hand have four daft generic blue squares which could mean anything to the untrained viewer.
I don't quite understand what's so much more complicated about having at least the station logo on idents, but not being able to have it on trails - is it the extra half hour of production required to edit it in?

I assume so - the theory presumably being that the Scottish and Grampian idents have already been made, whereas putting the logos on both sets of adverts would involve double the work. Still shoddy though - if you're going to have a brand, at least make it consistent and noticeable.

Meanwhile Bryan Burnett (ex Scottish Passport and God knows how many other cheaply produced SMG programmes, dumped by the company about six months ago) just popped up on an ident at 3.25pm. Again. Do SMG actually know who is working for them any more?
